First Tasting of Volére, the Chic New Box Wine,
in Time for Mother’s Day
WHAT:
Join Stew Leonard’s Wines of Clifton for a first taste of Volére, a new original premium box wine presented in the shape of a fashionable purse, on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Volére is two bottles of wine in one box, making it a chic and environmentally responsible way to celebrate Mom this Mother’s Day weekend. The packaging is made of paper and other recyclable materials, plus Volére takes up the same space (volume) of a 1.5 liter of wine in a glass bottle, but with a lot less weight so it costs less to ship.
Stew Leonard Jr. first tasted Volére at Vinitaly, the largest wine fair in the world held annually in Italy, in March 2012. He immediately loved the quality and taste of the wine as well as the traditional, timeless, and fun design of the purse. As such, Stew Leonard’s Wines is the first retailer in the area to carry Volére.
At the tasting, which is free to the public, Stew’s Wines specialists will sample the complete line of Volére wines, including:
- Volére Pinot Grigio: Features delightful crisp flavors of apple and white pear that lead to a long, elegant finish. The bouquet offers white flowers, green apple and peach.
- Volére Merlot /Pinot Noir: Brilliant ruby red in color, this merlot/pinot noir blend is a wonderful combination of red fruits, cherries, strawberries and raspberry, and fragrant spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Volére Rosè: An elegant rosè featuring an intense bouquet of wild strawberry, raspberry and rose petals.
Volére will be available for purchase for $12.99.
