WHAT:
Sample 100 wines from around the world paired with the foods of the Amber Room Colonnade at the "Spring Wine Spectacular" to benefit the United Way of Western Connecticut. Stew Leonard's Wines of Danbury have hand selected an outstanding array of wines for the event, including award-winning wines ranging from California Cabernets, to Oregon Pinot Noirs, Australian Shiraz, Super-Tuscans and Argentine Malbec.

The Amber Room chefs will prepare some signature hors d'oeuvres to complement the wines such as their tuna sashimi flatbread with wasabi aioli, seared filet carpaccio canapé with white truffle oil and shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano, fresh jumbo lump Chesapeake crab cakes with mango pineapple salsa, smoked salmon cream cheese purses and Asian-style shrimp skewers. Specialty cheeses, artisan breads, and a four-dish pasta station will complete the menu offerings.
