Italian Wines To Close Out Your November
Sacchetto Fili Prosecco — Crisp and fruity with a fragrant bouquet of green apple, grapefruit and acacia, this full-bodied Prosecco is elegant without being stuffy. It drinks like a special occasion sparkler but is so approachable, you just may find yourself reaching for it again and again.
Villa Michelino Barbaresco — Bright dusty garnet color. Fruity, complex aromas and flavors of blackberry, cola, dusty rose petal, and green tea with a tannic, tangy, dry light body and a subtle, medium-long baking chocolate, dried lemon wheel, raisin bread, and clove and anise finish with harsh, earthy tannins and moderate oak. An entry level Barbaresco that hits all the right notes.
Matire Barbera — This Barbera is bold, yet has a soft taste, so smooth and excellent with any pasta and meat dishes, that are not too rich, and your favorite chowders and soups.
Vinha Das Margaridas Moscato — Pale sunshine-yellow color, with a slight frizzante. This Moscato has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate, it is delicately sweet, with modest acidity, good balance and complexity with a finish of fresh apricots.
